You can individualise your website with a choice of background colours or images and arrange you work into sections as well as having Contact, About and Exhibitions sections.

If you have some good digital photographs of you work we can work with those , if not we can arrange to photograph you work for you.

The process of setting up a website usually follows these steps

  1. Initial meeting to discuss the site: we will meet up and talk over what you want from your website and how best to achieve it for you and your budget. Together we can decide how many pages and images to include; what information you might like to display and how best for you to be contactable. We will talk through all the steps below and send you a proposal. You can then decide if you want to go ahead with the project.
  2. If you do not have a domain name (e.g. www.artgallerydesign.co.uk) we can discuss what might be good potential names for your website. We can then, if available, register it/them for you or look for suitable alternatives and register those.
  3. We will arrange web-hosting for your site.
  4. We will arrange email forwarding from your site to you.
  5. We can photograph your work or, if you have them, work from good quality digital images supplied by you.
  6. We will crop and optimise the images for the website.
  7. We can create downloadable elements such as your CV, exhibition invite etc.
  8. We will build your website to the agreed layout.
  9. We will put in the necessary code to promote search engine optimisation.
  10. We will liaise with you so that you happy with the site.

The start-up costs will include all the above services and will vary according to what you want. Do contact us and we can give you a guide price. On-going costs would include the yearly costs of managing and maintaining domain name/s and the hosting. Small updates to your site can be made for an hourly fee, more major changes or additions can be made by arrangement.
